Next was finding impressive arduino-related videos, of which these were chosen:
The final matter was brainstorming ideas for our project: specific criteria are that it (obviously) must incorporate an Arduino microcontroller, as well as at least one 3D-printed part. Designs proposed were split into two groups: vehicular and non-vehicular devices. Non-vehicular devices proposed were an automated rail system capable of obtaining beverages without requiring one to leave their seat, and an entertainment suite capable of performing a laser light show. Vehicular designs were more broad, simply identifying that it would incorporate a mobile robot that would fulfill some not-yet-described purpose. One potential role a vehicular robot could fulfill is that of a military reconnaissance drone, capable of being controlled remotely to investigate a dangerous area without putting soldiers in harm's way.
Before leaving, a group photo was taken as proof of the team's meeting.
